Tuberclosis

Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis that primarily affects the lungs, but can also impact other parts of the body. Symptoms of TB include coughing for more than two weeks, chest pain or difficulty breathing, coughing up blood or sputum, fatigue, weight loss, or loss of appetite, and fever, chills, or night sweats. Our clinic offers comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of TB, utilizing chest X-rays, sputum tests, blood tests, and skin tests (Mantoux test) to confirm the presence of the infection. Treatment typically involves a minimum 6-month course of antibiotics, Directly Observed Treatment (DOT), and regular monitoring and follow-up.
